That sounds like trouble to me. Where's your glue?

Idealy your glue should be someone with a knowledge of all areas - not just
a good manager who knows a bit about the web. It may be as simple as
understanding HTML is not programming.

The result can be techies reinventing the wheel or guiding the process by
the limit of their knowledge and if you don't know their limits it could get
messy. Idealy a company remains technology agnostic, but it's all too easy
to stick to what you know.

A business driven management sounds like a good idea to me! Keep your
creatives creative, and your techies techie, and put in a management with
an understanding of how to manage them for the success of the business and
its clients.

Anyway, if someone finds one, I'll buy it first ;o)

Robin

P.S. Happy New Year all.
