Indeed there is also the .fm selling them to radio statiions and .am and
also the .tv one has gone very quiet. About a year ago there were going to
offer them for $5,000 a domain so you could have london.tv or sky.tv or
whatever. Think the main site is at www.internet.tv and there's a holding
page with some out of date blurb saying it is postponed.
When I was at Teletext, I got a phonecall from one of the so-called .tv
agents saying to pre-reserve teletex.tv for about $1,000 otherwise, it would
go to the highest bidder! The big boss bods at Teletext thought it was a
bit of a ransom
Anyone else get approached by .tv folks????
