I was amazed too. I can't work out what the value is. After looking
at the site I assume it's nothing about that particularly. As you
said, unnecessary flash intro, few sections actually live. And the
parts which are live are badly written and appallingly edited.
So I assumed they must have captured a large and unique audience
which is what the US company was buying. But 10m quid for 20,000
users seems like rather excessive acquistion costs...
I'd genuinely like to know the answer. Anyone?
