I should probably have made my original request more clear; I am looking for

an email system to host a newsletter rather than for permission marketing

purposes.

For our newsletter at The Good Book Guide (http://www.thegoodbookguide.com)

we chose EmailReaction. I'm pretty pleased with the result as the software

and set up is SPECIFIC for Newsletters and NOT mailing lists (i.e. Quality

over Bulk). It's also easy to amend/update for both the HTML and Plain Text

versions and the whole bounce/sub/unsub is managed either via email or the

website. It is also internally personalisable (i.e. you can choose which

bits you want to receive).
