OK Here goes....


It's a 'game' where these two teams of eleven idiots run up and down hacking a

leather ball at each other. Players fall into two socio-demographic groups, the

ones who get paid to play have single cell brains, huge salaries and look great

in shorts. The second and more confusing group are those who play for pleasure,

largely, educated, middle-class males with jobs in the media. They are

invariably crap, unfit and look lousy in shorts. They believe strongly that

playing confers some sort of authenticity in their otherwise sterile lives.


All in all you're going to be better off with Big Game fishing or Elk worrying
