We have a motto that represents our commercial stand on this subject,
which comes up frequently in conversation with clients: nothing done
on the cheap is ever worth the price you pay.

We produced a twenty page web site for Coopers & Lybrand, who had
previously paid very little indeed for no response, ever. The one we
did cost lots and lots (heaps, to be precise). It generated 31
qualified leads in the couple of months it was live. Each lead was
potentially worth, on average, �5million.

If Yellow Pages would care to qualify their statement, then I'd
consider it a credible argument. As it is, it's they who are trying
to hoodwink their customers - we wouldn't exist if we didn't deliver
value for money, whatever the price tag.
