Subject: | UKNM: Recruitment via "We are hiring!!" links? |

I'm thinking about starting a modest recruitment drive for
technical/creative/commercial staff via a "We are hiring..." link on our
public site. However, I am a bit concerned that this may lead to a
massive influx of calls, CVs, etc. and that we'll suffer from adverse
selection (ie. the people we most want are least likely to apply, and
vice versa).
I think it is one of those things that, if done badly or without
sufficient forethought, could be a public relations blunder.
Does anybody have experience of trying to recruit this way? (I'm sure
we ALL have opinions on this, and I hope nobody will be offended that
I am specifically asking for real-life experiences). Of of being recruited
this way?
Cheers
Sean
