Subject: UKNM: Google - A brave new marketing strategy
From: Marc Walker

Has anyone tried the new search engine google.com?

One of its founders, Larry Page, has been quoted saying "we have other
ways of making money, you will see".

Google have also stated that it will not become a portal nor will it
hold any content.

They have secured $25 million in investment funding so somebody is
taking it seriously.

If you haven't tried it, do so, it is a very powerful search engine.

So what will there marketing strategy be, if it is that accurate then
everybody will flock there to use it.

I cannot remember of the top of my head what Yahoo.com's stats are but i
think they were about 30 million per month.

If google starts to attract that many how will they use their audience?
Can they make money without portal advertising or content?
