Quite. I was imagining myself in a dreamworld where advertisers abandon all
scattergun techniques in favour of opt-in only. Bepaid can't kill banners,
but I think it will probably push down their price and quality. Eventually
you end up on a Brazil highway (the film, not the country) where the view is
filled with nothing but ads. Anyone got any figures for how many ads we
encounter per day, and predictions for how this will increase as WAP,
interactive TV etc. come on-line?

Anyone in favour of legislation against untargeted ads? If I ruled the
world...
