Well I signed up too, a while back. But unlike you Fiona, eventually got
the CD through. When I ordered the CD I was told there would be a wait
of over 2-4 weeks. However, all their spiel about 'upgrading the
network' being the reason for the delay seems to be so much hot air - I
never manage to connect at faster than 33.6 ... and more often than not,
significantly slower.

I have since gone back to using my Cable to Cable local ISP - and though
their peering isnt great, I am always connected at 46kbps, and the calls

are free anyway. Hmmm. *wonders why he ever bothered calling Telewest*
