UKNM: Marketing to SMEs

I am interested in knowing how to tackle the massive and disparate SME

market.  How does one succeed in covering so many businesses?  Is there a

list of these businesses somewhere?  Even if there is I don't want to waste

millions of dollars sending them a direct mail piece.  Does anyone know of

an agency which specialises in marketing to SMEs?  Does anyone know of a

site which caters to SMEs?
