There are plenty of silly names in this big wide world of ours. Retailers
and consumer brands consistently throw up oddities -- many of them pretty
venerable brands now, it's just that they have fallen into common parlance.

It may just be me, but "Next", "Pepsi" or "Diesel" wouldn't sound all that
promising as names for high street retailers, soft drinks and fashion labels
had they not been around and become part of our everyday consumer landscape.

Or maybe it IS just me.
