Well, the manifesto has been around for some 18 months, so nothing

particularly new there, altho' I'm constantly surprised that people find it

a revelation.


It still has mileage - I had the privilege of moderating a break-out

session at LOC (Local Online Commerce - http://www.kelseygroup.com/ )

conference in Boston this week, along with Rick Levine and a number of

colleagues. The theme was "Cluetrain". There was a huge amount of interest

in applying the notion of "conversation" to online media.


That, after all, is what it's about, isn't it? We have the ability to

engage our audience in one-to-one communication. We eschew that opportunity

at our peril.
