Reality is a strange thing.

In theory all offices should be paperless - my desk is covered in the
bloody stuff.

In theory people should be able to telework - I'm in Newfoundland because,
quite simply, for tight deadlines and close intergrated team work it's
simply not an option (despite AIM etc).

Don't beleive the hype. Technology is still mostly crap. I get more done by
a bunch of guys (and gals), a few bits of paper and lots of white boards
than with any ammount of spreadsheets, instant messaging and
teleconferencing.

Always have a healthy disrespect of all technology.

Cheers
