Web marketing is no less evolutionary than any other form of past and
present media. To suggest that it does or does not work is premature.

It is true to say that if your ad is attractive, informative and original
then it has an increased chance of impact. But this is subjective and is
also influenced by the targets familiarity with the medium, and their
perceived need for a particular product or service at the time of contact.

More and more homes are hooking up and the opportunities for innovative
response generation are growing daily. This combined with the burgeoning
on-line media industry, of which there are several I would recommend, will
produce a fresh medium through which to communicate, allowing us, the humble
marketing and advertising folk to reap the benefits.
