I agree totally with Mike and Tim.
Quentin, surely you have got things the wrong way round? Capitalism is money
for products - your reasoning about having freedom to choose whether or not
to buy is the same as whether or not to go to church (or whether or not to
follow Christianity or one of the other faiths or none at all).
Giving in Church is a voluntary exercise - the collection goes round and you
can choose whether you put anything in it. Not only that - you get an hours'
entertainment on top of it. You could, if you wanted to, attend free
meetings during the week and it's always available to pop into during the
day without entry fee.
The question of Hell is simple. If you are a Christian, then it should mean
something to you, if you are not then you really shouldn't spend too long
focusing on it. After all, if you don't believe in the teachings then,
presumably, you won't be concerned about the message.
However if I put my capitalist hat on and looked at your email address - I
would probably wonder when you were going to 'earn' a real one otherwise I
will have to assume that you don't work for anyone in particular or are
concerned about your identity!

Quentin I have never met you and I apologise if this is offensive, but this
is one of the most the most simplistic, and fucked-up opinions I have ever
read. The kind of thing that gets touted in university halls late at night
.... and on.
