Do you mean those absurd chain letters? Watch out for
the ones headed "This is not a chain letter".

The ones that make me laugh begin by saying something
like:

"Juan Lopez of Lima, Peru, received this letter on 12
February 1998 . . . "

. . and then go on to tell you of the disasters that
befell poort Juan when he sent it to his Trash folder.


Really? This very letter? He must have been pretty
suprised to see his name mentioned in the first line.
Given that it was 12 February when he received it he
must have been astonished to read of his agonising
death, scheduled for 20 March.
