A few months back I tried one of them ( OneSwoop.com) which needed
registration, so I started to register and got to a question where they
asked for nationality. I was somewhat staggered that in all my 23 years of
living in the UK and buying things off-line for 23 of those and online for
the past four that they wanted to know your nationality. If I go into a car
showroom to make an enquiry about a car, they don't ask me which of 150
countries am I from, so don't understand why they should need to know this
when it comes to buying a car online. What has nationality got to do with
buying a car? If it is so important to them, why don't they ask for which
country are you a resident in? But nationality???
Next they'll be asking for your blood type :)
