Could be that they just don't want to be packaged as a 'type'. Very
interesting article by Will Hutton in the Observer about reaching 50 and
finding he's in a class who are automatically ignored.

Personally, I don't want to be 'part of the e-conomy'. What we do is a fun
way to earn a living but I'd like to be part of the real 'surfer dude' life
style, not exactly "sitting on a beach earning 20%" (Alan Richman Die Hard)
but not having some manager telling me 'work is something you can only do
between 9 and 5' and muttering about BSI, ISO and Quality Audits wwwwwhhhhh!
