I think you're bang on about having to give away more

equity to get the money in. I've found that there's normally a see-saw

between making high offers and investors asking why someone needs an offer

that high, when they can get options...don't they believe in the company.

Not a ludicrous argument, but given the current climate, certainly a Catch

22.
