UKNM: Global e-commerce

Apropos the discussion about global / regional e-commerce, I ordered a video

from http://www.hmv.com last week, and only after I'd ordered thought about

PAL v NTSC format.  I contacted them today to be told that all videos

supplied are NTSC (North American) format.  Luckily, I was able to cancel

the order in time, but it raised some questions.


I can't be the first to experience the problem, and yet there is no

information available on the web site to prospective non-US/Canadian

shoppers re formats.


I was able to cancel my order 6 days after placing it without incurring

costs - so much for same day shipment.


Any recommends for good on-line video stores who stock PAL format video

films that aren't in the current best seller list? (I was looking for a copy

of a 10 year old main stream Hollywood film and drew a complete blank with

jungle.com etc.)
