basic definitions: WAP allows different wireless devices to send and receive info
over internet, regardless of manufacturer or network operator.
BLUETOOTH creates a universal, short-range radio link between all types of
electronic devices, allowing them to connect instantly and wirelessly with each
other using 2.4GHz radio frequency, not infrared, so don't need to be in the same
line of sight
