re: low uptake of beenz/other 3rd party loyalty schemes on my CRM work.
I think this is a factor of 3 things
1. i surveyed predominantly v large sites, who are less likely to want a 3rd
party solution, as they have the critical mass to devise their own (and as
you can see, loyalty schemes don't appear to be *that* widespread)
2. i only surveyed 75 sites, so small sample size
3. of those, only 15 or so were pure e-commerce - these are the only guys
likely to join a pay-for scheme, as they've got enough kickback from sales
to reclaim the outlay
Anyway - thanks to Tim's HHCL Futures group, i just read this very
interesting article about innovative ways of "cheating" google - good stuff
