Subject: UKNM: RE: X Box

I was just wondering whether anyone had seen the tech spec for the X Box and
be able to answer, I think, the most salient and important question about
it's design: Will it have a Ctrl-Alt-Del Button as standard?
(Answers on a post-it note)

IMHO the future of the console market looks like this (i.e. more clouded
than ever!): Dreamcast has failed because it's made by Sega and although
it's got a lot of great software they never quite got those 6 billion
networked customers (oops - online fiasco alert!). Playstation 2 is
launching with, let's face it, mediocre software, a difficult development
platform, poor DVD capabilities, unfulfilled promises and supply problems
(have they fumbled it?!) and XBox is being made by Microsoft - traditionally
a software producer who cut corners and produce PC-ports (although, of
course, they will claim differently!!). Which leaves the GameCube from
Nintendo which will probably end up producing the best software, most
creative games - but in small quantities for a niche market.

What will you be wanting under/next to your TV in the next 12 months?
