Another new chief exec (ackerman) from parent/investor company. That's the
3rd this year IIRC.

And they're now sniffily poo-poohing the Internet. Not a big customer demand
they claim.

Apart from the four initial backers (and two of those not v happy), I don't
think anyone else has, but I'll happily be told otherwise.

Hey, that's a 'trial' not a launch, as any BBC corporate affairs manager
will happily phone you up at home about 9pm to tell you.

Very quiet for good reason - maybe ask them about Open TV api's and the
attitude of 'TV' people as opposed to the lucky millions just queuing up to
code to Windows.

But why am I telling you this Peter, surely the new look Webmedia, with its
fingers on the pulse of digital TV and interaction, knows all this.
