I don't feel that I have much to contribute to the list anymore, and I no

longer have the leisure time simply to troll through the comments here

hoping for glimpses of information.


I believe that when this list was originally set up its mandate was to

provide a forum for the advancement of new media marketing through

information sharing, intelligent commentary and discussion.


While I still think that many members of the list have this at heart, I

deeply regret the gradual increase in the noise/signal ratio.


If I were a scrupulously honest man, I would also claim a certain amount of

responsibility for this -- I don't think that my posts have always been

entirely in the spirit of the list. 


It strikes me that there's one simple way to address these problems -- I'm

hitting the UNSUBSCRIBE today.
