IIS isn't as scaleable as Apache. It doesn't, on average, cope as well
with heavy loads. And given the top-heavy front end, there's always likely
to be something of a logjam on launch.
(What's to "hack" in the egg.com site? There's no really sensitive stuff,
apart from the standard ::$DATA appendage to URLs as an attempt to access
the raw ASP code. If people accessing directory addresses rather than
pages is "hacking", then MS have a very different concept of the term to
me.)
