UKNM: An old one but a good one

Ahhh, at last a web marketing question.  Damn, it's as old as the hills.

You know those companies who claim to be able to get you to the top of the

search engines?  Well I am looking for one who does not rely on urban myth

for methodology.  Anyone had decent experience with any of these companies

and could recommend their services.  No sales pitches please.
