the most maddening thing is that as an existing c&w customer, i can't get
ntlworld until *next* year! new customers have to wait up to three months
before receiving the cd as well.

they are bringing out b/band cable modem service soon (perhaps b4 end of
year) and i sigh when i think how long it will take to roll that out to
where i live.

there's a review of all these free isps on http://www.uk.internet.com/ (in
which poor old rha - which several friends use - gets a resounding nil
points).
