Type it in as a domain name e.g. looking for AOL try aol.com

looking for Ford try ford.com etc.


For a directory of dot com addresses (currently US only) have a look

at http://www.dotcomdirectory.com/) (blatant plug for my employer ;-)


Alternatively you could mention Realnames (http://www.realnames.com/)

as an additional addressing systems that will be included in the next 

internet explorer.
