Are people actually starting to realize that only products have value and
not brands?

Oh, how the dot com ambitions have fallen.
Jungle.com sold to Great Universal Stores for 37 million.
Against a hoped-for float value of 750 million.
Compare:
A. Sept 2000 - Jungle.com - 370,000 customers - 37 million
B. June 1998 - Internet Bookshop (bookshop.co.uk) - 70,000
customers - 9 million (to WHSmith in case you don't remember)
= Jungle Bailout.
A shop's a shop afterall - and who wants to be a shopkeeper.
Steve.
