Subject: UKNM: women's stats / auditing

Women's stats - depends what you're after. if you want vital stats on site
performance, i recommend the ABC route, as MediaMetrix data and anything
like it is horribly horribly skewed (i've been saying this for years, but i
found an article the other day that supported my theory - if i find it
again, i'll post the URL - lots of site owners saying the data is out by. .
. erm, up to hundreds of percent!). Don't forget that an ABC audit isn't
necessarily the holy grail either. . . so much for the measurable medium. .
.

If you want stats on women's web usage, and you're prepared to pay for it,
you can't really do better than Forrester's Internet User Monitor - get them
to run you cross tabs. . .

As for UK women's sites, i read/hear that beme.com has managed to gain over
1m users (hmmmmm. . .right!), but that the others are not <erm>
stratospheric.
