Okay, off the top of my head, how about registering the forums on discussion
forum search engines such as remarq, liszt, deja etc.?
Second, do you have a mailing list? If yes, does the registration process
ask for the users specific interests? You could then begin look at the
interests specified and then maybe look at asking an expert in that field to
conduct a Q and A session. You could then look at pr'ing that to the
business press and targeting interested users on your database... That could
then expand into other fields of interests on a weekly basis... Otherwise,
you could always look at hiring some guerrilla marketeers to come in and
talk to themselves ;-)

Hi Lindsey,

much of the content on our site is Finance and New Technology related
- perhaps a bit "too" broad actually. The idea is to filter users
through to our other corporate and product sites. This originally was
to be done covertly, yet the overt approach has worked far better.

The idea for the forum is to persuade our users to discuss the issues
raised by our content, but ideally to create a community that feeds
on itself. This I know is possible as many members of the list have
pointed out to me. We aim to attract finance and technology students
and business execs that have use of certain reference materials,
however the "hooks" available to me are as always particularly
limited.

with a soar head...

Chris.
