It's always fun in our house seeing what Tesco Online send when they
haven't got the ordered product. Wine is particularly intriguing. I think
I get a better deal but I haven't checked it out.
I'm still not sure how they make money out of this (probably don't). �5 a
go plus margin on the food - they have to pick it, deliver it, invoice it,
choose new things when they haven't got what's ordered, deal with
complaints etc etc... What does the business model look like? My
delivery person on delivered 18 orders that day. Dotcom millionaires they
aint.
It's quite a good "customer experience" though isn't it? Particularly
compared with other examples. Did I ever tell you about the time I ordered
.....??
