I don't know much about the following but it's worth a look.

it's was started by Phil Greenspun of photo.net fame
It, runs on AOL Server and uses Oracle, But If I'm remembering correctly
there are ports for the Posgres(sp?) Database and there is an AOL Server
module for Apache
