Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

As part of our ongoing digital PR and social media campaign for digital arts
channel The Space, we recently promoted a live streamed interview between
Stephen Fry and Tracey Emin.

 

The event coincided with the launch of Tracey Emin's 'She Lay Down Deep
Beneath The Sea' show at Turner Contemporary which runs until 23rd September
2012. The show is Emin's first major solo exhibition at Turner Contemporary
and is conceived specially for Margate, where Emin grew up and which has
provided inspiration for many of her most famous art works. The exhibition
explores the themes of love, sensuality and romanticism in Emin's oeuvre,
featuring both new and existing works including drawings, monoprints,
sculptures and neons.

Since The Space launched in May, it has become the destination for live,
free and on-demand arts featuring full performances, unmissable live events,
rare archives and interactive collections. Highlights to date include full
performances from The Globe Theatre's entire 'Globe to Globe' season, live
streamed opera from Southbank Centre and the unveiling of John Peel's vast
and rare record collection. July's highlights include the unveiling of
restored Hitchcock films and a live stream of this year's River of Music
including a performance by Scissor Sisters.
