Ladies and gentlemen, 

We're celebrating the first birthday of The Space, the on demand digital
arts platform from Arts Council England and the BBC, which we launched in
May 2012. 

For the last year our digital PR and social media strategy has helped to
change how people experience the arts, with hundreds of hours of original
work, free and direct from some of the nation's greatest artists and arts
organisations. 

Since May 2012 we've promoted music, film, theatre, dance, literature and
festival content on The Space, including full length performances, rare arts
films and behind-the-scenes insights - from Shakespeare to Scissor Sisters,
Tracey Emin to Turner, and Hitchcock to Hirst.
