Neil Ellis will be giving a talk on the value of using the Neo4J graph database to build a collaborative infrastructure. He will explore how the choice of storage mechanism affects application design and ultimately what functionality systems provide for their users.
This month we are focusing on two things: Cassandra internals (some fundamental data structures and algorithms) and Cassandra Query Language (CQL, coming in version 0.8). Hopefully these topics will be of interest to seasoned Cassandra experts plus people with more of a general interest in distributed databases.
Beers, pizza, and graph database talk to celebrate the new Neo4j release. Afterwards, we'll head to the Slaughtered Lamb for some more NoSQL related chat.
