my preference would be to use MMD sound - the compression is MUCH better
(mmd internal = 96k - Flash > 250k w/ similar compression specs)

The issue is that it is much, much harder to do vaguely tight sync between
Flash animation + mmd internal or SWA audio, even with cuePoints. The
artists doing the animation in flash are more guessing at timing, etc.

I was trying the audio in Flash as a possible solution - but the playback
is just not adequate. I think I will try an approach where the artists
import the sound in flash, use it to animate to, then strip it out when
they export the .swf file. This way they can tweak and adjust in one app.
This way it should be close, and I can use the cuepoints for timing
correction.

I like the mmd/flash messaging, and think it is done well considering the
complexity involved, but its not worth the complexity of implementing in
certain cases when a number of hands are working on the files.
