	Hey Geri,


	That is a hard way, and you are right, it is a crap shoot.  With 

the risk of getting off flash topics, here is how I do it in PS so your 

partner might have an easier way to do it:


	Create a new alpha channel.

	Make a rectangular selection the size of the pill

	Fill it with white

	Select all.

	Guassian blur - 5 pixels.

	Select all (just in case)

	Levels - set them to 120  1    140

	This should give you a pill shaped object, with nice rounded 

corners.  Use it as a mask (CTRL or command click it to apply it to the 

image), and fill with desired colour.
