Just a report on file size increases with animated gifs exported from 

Flash 3. (Win95 version)

     

I'm doing a series of banner ads for Air Canada. Some of them were done 

in Flash 2 and exported as animated gifs. So just to check, I exported 

one from Flash 3 and noticed a 2K increase from 7K to 9K. That's about 

29% bigger (yikes). I'm pretty sure I set all the export options the 

same for both exports.

     

So you might want to stick to Flash 2 if you're doing animated gifs. 

(at least investigate the difference on your system...)

     

If anyone else has the time to test this, I'd be interested in the 

results.
