Are you browsing it from your hard drive or from a url? Are you using a
preloader? connection speed? platform?
Have you looked at an older version of your project that might still be
in your cache? cleared your cache?

You can get a lot of things. the bare minimum is this:

1) open .fla file
2) go to publish settings
3) (select) formats: flash (.swf) & html (.html)
4) click publish (After it's published, cancel out of all that)
5) in the folder your .fla is located should be a file called name.swf
and name.html (name being the name of your .fla file).
6) drag or open that html file in a browser. your flash project should play.

If you follow this and the swf still hangs on playback, it could be
something in the actionscripts.

Somewhat... flash exports html with <html><head> and other stuff... if
you just want the flash needed code, copy everything from between the
<object -thru- </object> tags and put in your html file.

check the folder your .fla file is located and look for the html file
named after your .fla file.

It does.. be patient with it... it needs love too :)\
Hope this helped.
