For those interested in this thread...the "ultimate sniffer" is being
devised by a group of us that only yesterday (day before?) decided to pool
our knowledge and develop some tools to get over all of the compatibility
hurdles. It is/will be whatever we, as a group, want it to be, so if you
have requests, come join us in our efforts & we'll try to get you up to
speed on what we've done so far. When I get the database operational, it
will be hopefully easier to see what we are doing.

At any rate, to join the mailing list send an email to:

In the body of the message, put: subscribe

Then you will get a confirmation message that you must return for
confirmation, and you're in!
