FLASH: Totally OT

Hello everyone.  First of all, my humble apollogies for the delicate souls

of this list for throwing another OT.  Sorry for the inconvenience.


As expected, i haven't found the solution for this, and maybe some of you

can and want to help me:


I have been struggling with a couple of clients that claim that my websites

don't work, that they can't see the webpages, that they can't see any

pictures, etc.  when i am *sure* everything is working properly and is their

computers and modems that are not configured correctly.  This is really

really annoying and i assume that i will go through this situation over and

over since some of these folks have zero knowledge of internet or modem

troubleshooting.  So my question is this:  does anybody know if  there is

*any* kind of  tool, tester, program, whatever, that can do all this

checking for me?   Some sort of program that checks for errors on the

internet configuration of the modem, browser, computer, etc.


Maybe i will get answers like "yeah, right" and "don't you want the computer

to bake u a cake also?"  but i still wanted to ask....... i would appreciate

any help,  you can email me off the list if you want to.
