One trick I use is to get (from the HTML source) the exact filename of the
file, complete with path and URL, and copy that entire thing into the
address bar of an FTP program called Bulletproof. Bulletproof handles HTTP
too, so it will download that file on its own. I haven't yet found a file
online that I can't get this way (though some javascript tricks can make it
a little more difficult).

Of course, you should use this knowledge for good, not evil. :)
