Subject: FLASH: I was human once, before his problem, that is...

Greetings Flasher list:

Sorry if this problem is a rehash.

The task: I'm exporting a movie which contains a long clip from a CD
(22kHz, 16 Bit, 40.9 seconds long, 1.8 megs).

The problem: Although the clip plays beautifully in the FLASH
environment (either from the library or on the stage), it gets these
wonderfully annoying "pops" in the .swf file. I've even tried the
preview function within the clip's properties dialogue box to make sure
it's not getting distorted by MP3, and it sounds fine.

Now, I've already set the sound property of this clip to "Best" quality
at 160 kbps. (I don't care about file size, I just want to hear clean
audio.) I'm not using the override checkbox when I export. I've tried
it with the clip at both "stream" and "event." I've taken everything
else out of the movie just to troubleshoot this popping.

Any help is most appreciated. I've tried searching Dejanews for any
earlier postings at other lists on this topic, and can't find anything.

I'm a simple man, and don't want much in this world. I just want this
popping to go away.

Thanks,

Daniel
