Subject: FLASH: Batch editing?
From: Calder, Jeff

Hi listers .. just joined this list a few min. ago and have to start with a
messy problem:

I work for a company that outsourced a ton of flash work for our company web
site. Now that the contract with the developers is up, they (my company)
want to be able to edit and update the flash files .. no problem, except
that the original files were developed on a Mac, and we are exclusively PC,
thus a major font problem .. I have both the Mac and PC versions of the
font, but the PC version are named differently, so the text defaults to
Times New Roman.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to get around changing every library
item and/or symbol instance one by one? Haven't seen anthing along a
search/replace function ... I'm looking at *thousands and thousands* of
mouse clicks!

BTW, we're using Flash 3 . . .

TIA,

jc
