Thanks for your answer John.You've confirmed what I suspected.


As a solution, Ive  incorporated all of the content changes for my 

movie s into a MC of its own. So, there is no need to switch between 

scenes and I can Target any  MC in my File from an other MC and get 

around the Main Movie easily


  The only problem is that, since everything is encapsulated into MC's 

I have to export the Flash Movie in order to see how the changes play 

out on the stage. Not a big deal but I was hoping there was an 

expression I could use to GO TO other scenes thus allowing me to 

break up my project onto seperate movies if/when it gets too large.


I could still do this howevere but it wont be as easy as copying all 

of the frames and MC's from a scene and pasting them  into a new file 

to save as a seperate SWF. I would hgave t go into each MC and copy 

the content I want to use and reasssemble it in another file.
