So, am I the only person left in this universe experiencing crashes?
It's the second time that Flash 4 *completely* messed up a whole days
work ("unexpected file format").
I'm already in the habit of hitting save after every operation. Do I
need to save copies as well?
It happens almost always when editing actions (mouse events?). It always
goes hand in hand with a crash on the PCI bus (or sound manager? I have
an audio card installed).
Also: I have to crank up virtual memory (which of course does not go
down very well with audio software) to about 500 Meg to be able to work
on a 50 Meg file (sounds of course). Can this be normal?
Mac OS 8.1 144 Meg Ram installed. Add'l (to 8.1) extensions: suitcase,
ATM, Type reunion, Korg 1212, Kensington, Iomega driver.
Any help or insight very much appreciated, I'm getting a little edgy here.
Regards,
U.
