FLASH: Importing Images???

I am working on a project in Flash and I need to import some bitmaped

images that are circular in shape. When I try to import them, I get a big

white box around the image. I created the circular images in Photoshop and

saved them as .bmps. Can anyone tell me how to import an image in Flash

that is irregularly shaped and does not have a square background? 


I compare this to importing an EPS file that has paths into Quark.
